The lab participates in CeMM's highly successful PhD program. PhDs are awarded through association with the Medical University of Vienna, which organizes thematically focused PhD programs focusing on cancer, bioinformatics and other relevant research topics. Close ties also exist with the Computational Epigenetics Group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, and with experimental as well as computational research groups in Europe and around the world.
